Dadasaheb Patil College of Agriculture is started in 2002. The campus is located alongside Nagpur- Mumbai highway at Dahegaon on a vast piece of land measuring 105 acres with scenic natural setting having calm, quiet and the wonderful atmosphere conducive for stay and learning. We offer a stimulating and unique learning environment to study, that develops and encourages our students to achieve their future dreams. Our former students have gone on to perform at the highest levels in a broad range of careers. All the departments of this college are well developed and equipped as per MCAER &VNMKV norms for the education of students. The college is having a model farm for growing all sort of Agronomical, Horticultural, Vegetables Crops. Good dairy, Sericulture, Mushroom Production, Poultry are our strength. Besides this, college has aimed for “come to learn &go to serve”, that’s why we establish competitive forum at this college. Placement cell is also working for job placement. This resulted in a good performance for higher education admission, and appointments in government, semi-government departments and private sectors.

To double the Agricultural income is our prime responsibility and this is possible only if we prepare the youth fully aware of agriculture knowledge in the field of crop production, Biotechnology, Protected commercial crop production, Food Technology, Soil and Water Conservation System Animal Science & Dairy Technology etc. through admission for taking education, Leading to B. Sc. (Hons.) (Agri.) course. The Dadasaheb Patil College of Agriculture, Dahegaon is established in 2002 under the dynamic leadership of Resp. Late Ramkrishna Baba Patil (Ex. MP) and Late Dadasaheb Ramkrishna Patil. The college is affiliated to Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani recognized by MCAER Pune, accredited as ‘B’ grade by VNMKV, Parbhani. The college is located between Balasaheb Thakare Samrudhhi Express Way & Mumbai-Nagpur State Highway well connected road with beautiful greenery, well ventilated laboratories and classrooms with qualified experience teaching staff. Separate hostel facilities for girls and boys are located in campus itself. Other facilities includes, well equipped library, sports facilities of indoor and outdoor games in campus are available. The campus is well secured with security guard and CCTV’s.
The college campus and hostels are situated in the vicinity of college farm there by all the students compulsory go through all the farm activities, Horticultural Crops and Nursery Management, Animal Husbandry (Cow, Buffalo, Goat, Poultry and Fisheries etc.) and Dairy Technology. Thereby get Practical Experience in all the Agricultural Activities with stay in rural areas.
More emphasis is given to the admitted students regarding getting practical knowledge of surrounding villages, agriculture by arranging the different visit to Agril. Research stations, reputed seed companies and KVK situated in the country by arranging separate tour Programme.
1. Provide recent agritech knowledge to students in addition to their regular course curriculum.
2. Development of farming community by the adoption of advanced agricultural technologies with extension, demonstration, education and need-based researches.
3. Making students not only educationally sound but also efficient in making decisions at policy levels in all sectors.
4. The students after degree should be a progressive farmer with good marketing skill.
